Kitchen Designs with Storage

Good News! You may be out of storage space now, but there’s more coming. Re-designing your kitchen can yield 50% or more of additional space. Space can be found by eliminating blind corner cabinets, incorporating multiple roll-out trays and installing taller, 42” wall cabinets. Yes, the wallpapered soffit above the present cabinets will need to go, but the taller cabinets will provide more storage and make the room feel bigger.

Don’t forget about the new island: under the countertop, there is plenty of room for more cabinets, a wine rack, beverage refrigerator, cookbook shelf, or other customized storage space. Finally, it’s time to get rid of the 1990’s built-in cluttered kitchen desk. It’s obsolete, so integrate it into the kitchen and this will provide even more storage.
